Saefullah is Optimistic PAD 2019 can Achieve the Target

Jakarta Secretary, Saefullah is optimistic that Jakarta Locally-generated Revenue (PAD) can reach this year's target of Rp 50.8 trillion.

We are optimistic to achieve the target within this remaining time

PAD is collected from regional taxes that is targeted as much as Rp 44.5 trillion, regional levy Rp 710 billion, separated regional assets management result Rp 618 billion, and legal locally generated revenue Rp 4.9 trillion.

"Locally-generated revenue is still below the target. But because its deadline is on December 2019, we are optimistic to achieve the target within this remaining time," he asserted at City Hall, Wednesday (10/24).

Meanwhile, Jakarta Tax and Levy Agency (BPRD) Head, Faisal Syarifudin stated, his side tries to increase PAD by implementing regional tax relief policy and tax optimalization using door-to-door system.

As the result, his side has collected Rp 31.5 trillion for PAD until October 17, 2019.

"We also emphasize law enforcement for taxpayers who haven't paid their taxes y et," he mentioned.
